Up to 20 matches are returned, ordered by decreasing score and increasing date. Each result includes the comic title, the issue number (or name), and a thumbnail of the cover. If the title contains reprints, then reprint codes are included in square brackets ([...]). If the title is part of a crossover, then codes are included in curly braces ({...}). The meaning of the codes can be found by clicking on Reprints Legend and Crossovers Legend at the bottom of the results page. If you click on the thumbnail, a larger image is retrieved.
(Almost) every match will have a link labelled "GCD", which goes to details about that cover held at the Grand Comics Database Project (GCD). There you'll find details about the writers, inkers, storyline, and more. GCD is a great resource.
