โครงงานระบบการเฝ้าระวังตรวจจับอุบัติเหตุบริเวณแยก (Accident detection for traffic surveillance system) เป็นโครงงานที่จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อตรวจจับอุบัติเหตุบริเวณแยกได้อย่างอัตโนมัติ โดยใช้การติดตั้งกล้องวิดีโอบริเวณแยกเพื่อจับภาพมาวิเคราะห์ ในการวิเคราะห์ภาพนั้นจะต้องทำการปรับมุมมองของภาพเพื่อให้ได้ในมุมมองที่สามารถวิเคราะห์ภาพได้ถูกต้องและแม่นยำมากยิ่งขึ้น จากนั้นจึงใช้เทคนิคของ Optical Flow ในการติดตามวัตถุการเคลื่อนที่โดยอาศัยหลักความเข้มของแสงในแนวแกนตั้งและแนวแกนนอนที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับเวลา จาก Optical Flow จะได้คุณสมบัติของ Flow vector ซึ่งประกอบด้วยทิศทางการเคลื่อนที่ ขนาด และตำแหน่งของ Flow vector หลายๆ Flow vector โดยจะนำFlow vector ต่างๆมาจัดกลุ่มการเคลื่อนที่โดยใช้หลักการ K-Mean algorithm จากนั้นจะนำค่าตำแหน่งของแต่ละกลุ่มทิศทางการเคลื่อนที่เพื่อตรวจสอบแนวโน้มที่อาจเกิดอุบัติเหตุโดยเทียบกับค่าเทรชโฮล ถ้ามีค่าน้อยกว่าเทรชโฮลระบบจะมีการเตือนไปยังหน้าจอคอมพิวเตอร์
Accident detection for traffic surveillance system is a project that is designed to detect accidents automatically in a specific areas. By setting up cameras, video is captured for analysing. Camera must be adjusted to an appropriate view that image analysis technique can be executed with more precise. The process consist of 4 steps. Using the technique of Optical Flow to track moving object on its intensity properties along the vertical and horizontal of image related to time. From the Optical Flow, its properties, such as the direction angle and position of vector, are defined. Then the Flow vectors are grouped into moving object by using the principle of K-Mean algorithm. Finally the position and direction of each motion is used for determining the trends of accidents. If an accidents is detected , the alarm is raised. The overall results show that the system to can be used to detect accidents, in case where objects crashed in difference direction. Our method may can be used together with surveillance system to detect accidents on intersections. This will decrease the losing from accident.
